Pineapple and Shrimp in SAMBAL Chili Sauce

Here is another idea to use SAMBAL Chili Sauce.

A very easy and non-time consuming (apart from dicing the pineapple) dish but the result will make your friends and family wanting for some more!

So let’s get started:


500 gr Peeled and ready to cook prawns

1 or half a pineapple cleaned and cut into dices and drizzle a pinch of salt mixed it well.

1 whole lemon squeezed

4tbsp of SAMBAL Chili Sauce

1 tbsp of Sweet Soy Sauce ( you can opt this one out if you want to have a gluten-free meal or swap it for a gluten-free sweet soy sauce )

Salt and pepper to taste

To make:

Soaked the prawns in a bowl with lemon juice, leave it for 5 minutes.

Heat your pan and drizzle /spray some cooking oil, put in the SAMBAL Chili Sauce let it sizzle a little bit, add the prawns leave it for a while until it changed color, add the pineapple and lastly add the sweet soy sauce, stir gently. If needed you can add salt and pepper to taste.
