Promoting Indonesian Food in the United Kingdom

One of the goals of ENGGI’S KITCHEN is to promote Indonesian food in the United Kingdom by participating in food events around the country. Some events were organized by Indonesian community while others were organized by a local community/ event organizer.

Indonesia Showcase - Birmingham In less than two weeks, ENGGI’S KITCHEN will at the Indonesia Showcase Food Bazaar, hosted and organized by NUSASRAVA (a student Indonesian organization in Birmingham). The event will be situated at the Chancellor’s Court University of Birmingham, 1st of April 2017 from 12 noon- 5 pm.

While this sort of festival is a special way for the Indonesian to touch base and be nostalgic about Indonesia, the organizer has a specific purpose that is to create a venue enabling interaction between local food enthusiast and Indonesian vendors based in the United Kingdom.

There will be 9 hot food stalls available at the event, the sitemap below will help you find your way during the festival. Here are some lists of the food available at the event: Padang Food, Lemongrass Beef Noodle Soup, Grilled spicy chicken, Laksa, Gado Gado, Sate to name a few. But if you want to have the full lists of the menu, you have to come to the event. There will also be various entertainment throughout the festival.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to Hozihora Foundation, an Indonesian Charity base in Indonesia working to provide equal opportunity in education for Indonesian children. For more information about this foundation please visit: http://en.hoshi-zora.org/
