Enggi’s Kitchen was established in 2016, we saw an opportunity to offer Indonesian Street Food to the public. At that time it was a touched and go sort of thing, as we really don’t know how the public’s reaction will be.
Bristol is an amazing place to be: the people are welcoming, the City council is very helpful and the markets are just perfect. There’s always a demand for something, and that demand we are able to fill in.
In 2017 we are very lucky to have a spot at St Nicks Friday Street Food and from then on we joined Bristol Eats ( BEATS) and that really further our venture in joining the street food scene in Bristol; we also work a lot with Love Food Festival and various other event organisers.
As the pandemic started to hit hard at the start of 2020. Enggi’s Kitchen like many other small, and independent traders had to organically adopt to the new normal. We started to offer home deliveries which you can find the service through our website: www.enggiskitchen.com
During the lockdown, we have ample of time to turn our garden to become a kitchen garden supplying us with various homegrown herbs, spices and vegetables.
The real story and what we are really trying to say is that we are blessed and thankful for the chance, the kindness, the support, the friendship and the loyalty that we have received during our venture. We couldn’t have done it this far without all of that.
So our story isn’t a story without you in it , and Bristol you rock!!!
